We invite applications from suitably qualified women to join us as Lecturer/Associate Lecturer in Statistics in the School of Mathematical Sciences and help us to drive research with profound impact and to participate in our vibrant learning environment.

The successful applicant will assist in the SchoolÕs development of new programs in data and decision science. You will conduct high quality research in statistics and collaborate within the SchoolÕs research programs with excellent opportunities to work alongside leading researchers across the University. You will also be involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in theoretical and applied statistics.

We seek candidates who have:

• A PhD or equivalent in an area of Statistics or a related field is required
• An active research program in an area of Statistics
• Enthusiasm and ability to teach at all levels
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

A variety of flexible working arrangements are available for the successful candidate.

The Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences celebrates diversity and has a range of programs available to support our staff and students in their academic lives. Salary: (Level A) $67,894 - $91,425 | (Level B) $96,135 - $113,788 per annum.

Superannuation: An employer contribution of up to 17% applies.

Term of position: This fixed term position is available immediately until December 2020.
