The Outreach Fellow will develop an undergraduate retention strategy with the aim of increasing BSc Majors in Mathematics and Statistics. The Outreach Fellow is expected to contribute to a first-year elective subject in the Bachelor of Arts, as well as develop and coordinate enrichment programs for talented secondary school students. The Outreach Fellow will also coordinate general outreach programs for the purpose of promoting mathematics and statistics. The incumbent will be expected to liaise and form networks with external organisations in developing, coordinating and delivering these activities.

The Outreach Fellow will also be expected to undertake some teaching and some research in his/her discipline.

To be considered for the position you will have a PhD or equivalent degree in mathematics and statistics as well as experience in education and familiarity with the school curriculum in Victoria. For further details regarding the selection criteria please see the position description.
