The University of Sydney

The School of Mathematics and Statistics

Closing date: 6th February 2020

We are looking to appoint a Lecturer in Financial Mathematics. This position has been made possible by the awarding of a Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) entitled “How to beat model uncertainty with more information” to Dr Anna Aksamit. To succeed, you will be a talented and well-qualified mathematical scientist with expertise in financial mathematics and stochastic processes, or a related area that strengthens the school’s profile and/or contributes strategically to University activities. You will need to have appropriate skills and qualifications as outlined in the position description, including a PhD in a relevant area. Priority will be given to applicants who are able to collaborate with Dr Aksamit on topics related to her DECRA project and with other members of the Financial Mathematics group.
