We are seeking applicants with expertise in the development and analysis of mathematical models of biochemical reaction networks.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in the application of mathematical modelling to the study of intracellular signalling networks, and the ability to validate models against experimental data. Some background in Algebraic Geometry is highly desirable, but not essential. Applicants for this position ideally have a strong publication track-record (relative to opportunity) within the field of mathematical biology and/or mathematical chemistry.

The successful candidate will focus their teaching on providing high-quality learning experiences for applied and computational mathematics, statistics, operations research, engineering, science and health science students who want to combine their studies with real-world applications of quantitative methods.
