Required qualification: Degree in software engineering, comp. science, equivalent experience/qualification
Salary: $65 k to $90 k including super (exact level will depend on skills and experience)

Established in February 2016, Endgame Economics is a technology-led consultancy that provides mathematical and economic advice. Much of our work is to advise organisations that operate in, or oversee, the National Electricity Market ('NEM').

We provide quantitative and mathematical advice, and so we are constantly working with data and constructing models to help our clients understand and solve problems. Our clients include:

We need mathematically minded software engineers to design optimisation (linear and integer programs, evolutionary programming) and stochastic (Markov/hidden Markov) models and implement them in scalable, user friendly web apps that our advisory team and clients can use to answer their questions quickly, easily, and reliably.

We are therefore looking to recruit a junior software engineer to join our team. We are a small three-person team based in Sydney, and you will be the first full-time addition to our technical team. In the role, you will also collaborate with our advisory team who interact with our clients.
