The group of James Sneyd (University of Auckland, New Zealand) is recruiting one or two PhD students to work on a project involving the dynamics of calcium and the secretion of saliva. The funding covers student fees and stipends.
Applicants should have a degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, biomathematics or computational science (or the equivalent), and must have some experience in the application of mathematical techniques to problems in cell physiology.
