Ranking for mathematical physics

A subcommittee established by the National Committee for the Mathematical Sciences has produced a ranked list of journals in the area of mathematical physics FoR code 105.

The list, which distributes journals among four tiers (A* — top 5%; A — next 15%; B — next 30%; and C — lower 50%), can be found here.

This ranking is only tentative, although it will shortly be finalised. Any comments or suggestions should, in order to receive attention, be sent to Aleks Owczarek (aleks@ms.unimelb.edu.au) by Friday 8th August 2008.
